Frequently Asked
Why is Premium still a waitlist?
We're building the content engine that splits the paid sections from the free ones — the Portfolio Watch model, the valuation database behind full Deal Flow, and the search index for the archive. We want early subscribers who shape the voice, not a race to collect payment. When Phase 4 of the roadmap ships, Premium opens to the waitlist in order of signup, and every founding subscriber keeps their $15/mo rate for life.
How do upgrades and downgrades work?
Upgrades are prorated to the current billing cycle — the difference is charged the day you upgrade, and you keep the new tier through your next renewal. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period, so you never lose paid-for access mid-cycle. Founding-rate lock travels with your account: if you upgrade from Premium to Intelligence and later downgrade, you land back on the Premium founding rate you originally signed up at, not the then-current public rate.
Can I get a multi-seat license?
Yes — multi-seat is the Enterprise tier. Seat-count pricing starts at $25,000 per year and scales with headcount, API volume, and data scope. Includes SSO, per-seat access logs, and shared billing. Reach out via the Enterprise contact button above and we'll scope a quote inside two business days.
Do you offer design-partner pricing?
Yes. Our first three Enterprise customers get 50% off Year 1 in exchange for permission to list the logo as a design partner and a quarterly feedback call on the data surfaces they actually use. We take the feedback seriously — several of the Debt Maturity Wall fields exist because early conversations flagged them. Email [email protected] to put your name in; we'll confirm slots as they're filled.
What payment methods do you accept?
Premium and Intelligence run on Stripe — all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and US bank ACH. Enterprise is invoice-and-wire on Net-30 terms by default; Net-60 available for government primes and regulated buyers. No crypto, no PayPal, no resellers.
What is your refund policy?
Premium carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked — email us and we refund the full charge. Intelligence monthly is non-refundable after the billing date, but you can cancel at any time and you keep access through the end of the cycle. Intelligence annual is prorated-refundable within the first 30 days. Enterprise refunds are governed by the per-contract SLA; default is prorated credit against the next service period for any documented uptime or data-freshness miss.
What about journalists or academics?
Credentialed journalists and university researchers get Intelligence tier free for the duration of the engagement. Email [email protected] from an institutional address with your credentials (masthead, byline links, or faculty page) and we'll provision access within one business day. We ask that you credit AstraVeris in any published work that relies on our data.
Where's the Premium content right now?
In every issue, already. The full Deep Dive, the complete Deal Flow table, and Portfolio Watch ship unsplit in every newsletter today — the paywall logic is in local development and ships with Phase 4 of the roadmap. When the split goes live, founding subscribers are grandfathered in before the gate comes down. So: read everything now, lock your rate early, and the split never costs you anything.
Custom Deals & Pilots
Don't see your use case? Research desks, satellite-finance lenders, reinsurance retrocession desks, and government program offices routinely need custom data cuts, NDA-bound feeds, or one-off historical rebuilds. We do pilots. Reach out with the question you're trying to answer and we'll scope the fastest path to an answer.
